Most anybody other than a Sooner fan would have already changed games by the time this happened, so I imagine most of you missed the ejection:

The opposing player says the flip was a "misunderstanding."

I love how the offender holds his arms out in the "what, me?" position.

It's probably not a bad strategy to try to get Griffin to bump his head during the game, but it's definitely a dirty one.

Griffin has been on the receiving end of plenty of cheap shots this year. I guess guys do things they wouldn't normally do when they are getting completely dominated all game. 11-12 FGs last night en route to 28 points and 13 boards. Just another night at the office for Griffin.

Damn, their could be something to Cougjunkie's pick. Griffin looks dominating. Syracuse had the best player in 2003 and wins it all. UConn had Okafor and Gordon and wins it all in 2004. 2005 is the exception (Chris Paul was the best player, but Deron Williams is a close runner up and Illinois made the championship game). 2006 didn't have any standout players (Bargnani was the 1st pick in the draft that year). 2007 had the loaded Florida team but Oden still guides Ohio State to the championship game. 2008 had Derrick Rose and Memphis make it to the championship game.

Given the recent history, it's not a bad bet that Oklahoma at least makes it to the championship game.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

Was it Griffin that got intentionally tripped by the Utah player?
