Nothing carves a program into immortal stone quite like being part of the Heisman fraternity. Well, a National Championship does, too, I suppose.

It is really cool to swing by BYU and look at the Heisman trophy and National Championship trophy. I am really glad that BYU has achieved the pinnacle of both team and individual success in college football. As everyone would surely agree, only a select few schools have accomplished such a feat.

I have a framed copy that ldc gave me for Christmas a few years ago. Should have been Ty's second SI cover that season, after he beat Miami but was robbed for a hair-monster Pete Samprass whom I have still not forgiven.

I had that big poster with Ty in his tux and the cleats. My grandma got it signed for me and gave it to me for my next birthday.
