I'm not really familiar with very many assistant coaches in the PAC-10. I think Whit is a terrific coach, but I'm wondering how Utah's assistants will stack up against the PAC-10 assistants. I'm especially interested in experience and salary.

What are you looking for in terms of experience? Time spent as current coach? Time spent at current program? Number of years as a position coach at the FBS level? I could have a post up by this time tomorrow morning. Finding salary numbers seems like it would be a pain in the ass.Originally posted by BlueHair View PostI'm not really familiar with very many assistant coaches in the PAC-10. They're on par with Washington State. Except KW makes twice what Paul Wulff does if numbers are correct. Sitake makes $173k. Roderick makes $143k. Schramm makes $175k. From the numbers I have seen for the public schools in the Pac 10 they are lower across the board. The other assistants all average between $200-300k. Granted there are some guys who are way overpaid like Nick Holt at UW.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostEnlightening. Thanks.
If you're talking experience then again, Utah doesn't stack up. Look at guys like Chow, Kiffin, Aliotti, etc. I am not saying that Utah's assistants are poor (at least not in this post), they're just young. You can't compare Sitake's experience with just about anybody in the Pac-10. Same with team Shroderick. That's just the truth."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic

Thanks Surfah. I would be surprised if Schramm, Roderick and Sitake weren't bumped up to 200k this offseason. I'm guessing that's the first thing the new PAC-12 money will go towards."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay

I copied and pasted from a Pac-10 board. I just wanted to enlighten BO some more. The Utah salaries all came off Utah's Right to Know website.Originally posted by pellegrino View Postthe man went the extra mile to show he cares and that's all you can say? you should be like

I wouldn't be surprised if Utah waited a year or so to bump up their salary given that the Pac-12 payout schedule for Utah. In addition, with the recent agreement to pay the LA based teams an extra $2M money may be tight for Utah for the next few years and Ute fans may be paying a lot more for home tickets.Originally posted by BoylenOver View PostThanks Surfah. Utah tickets are severely undervalued. They need to come up in price. I paid $125 for my season ticket in the north end zone this year, and there's no required Crimson Club donation (I became a donor to ensure my mom and brother got their season tickets by me, though). I would be shocked if that doesn't come up to $200 next year, with a minimum increase of 5-7% over the next few years.Originally posted by Uncle Ted View PostIn addition, with the recent agreement to pay the LA based teams an extra $2M money may be tight for Utah for the next few years and Ute fans may be paying a lot more for home tickets."I don't know the origin of said bitch booming."-Art Vandelay
