BYU needs some serious help on defense. They play way too soft. I'd like to see them be more aggressive. Passive defense is hard to watch.

I'm really surprised that BYU got back into it after seeing how far off the receivers we are playing. BJ has done a great job of taking advantage.
Barring some bad play calling by Utah or BJ going cold, this will be a tough deficit to come back from.

Normally I'm a fan of the bend-but-don't-break philosophy. Usually it is good enough, especially with a pretty good offense, to beat 5 or 6 teams easily in our conference. Let them make mistakes and usually you'll be fine. However, once you play teams that are disciplined enough and patient enough to take what you are giving them and not turn the ball over, you're toast.
BYU needs a TO in the second half if they want to have a chance.

The zone we play is absurd. Any patient offense can pick BYU apart. There is nothing we can do to stop them without pressure on BJ."Nobody listens to Turtle."-Turtlesigpic
