  • Lane Kiffin caps off first class with a bullet

Kiffin got one heck of a good first class, and topped it off with Bryce Brown today. That guy can flat out recruit, I am not sure if he can coach or not but we will find out.

Tennessee wasn't even listed with Brown in January, amazing. Plus I heard Coach O is back to his wild shirtless tirades in the locker room. The Vols could become a fun team to watch.

I have a buddy that is a huge Vols fan (even though we graduated from Alabama together) and i used to call him just to get the latest info on the shenanigans from Coach O at Mississippi (and there were many), and his indecipherable car commercials. I was depressed for a week when he got fired (and not at all surprised when the Rebs had a great year under a better coach and worse recruiter in Houston Nutt).

As much as I hate the Vols, I am kind of excited to see what happens here-whether it be new life in the program, a program falling apart at the seams, or a smoking crater with a 4 year probation period. Just give it to me with color and the Kiffin/Orgeron duo has not disappointed.

I've become an Alabama sympathizer after befriending one of their fans at the Sugar Bowl, and it's clear that Kiffin has a target on his back in the SEC. I would be shocked if they won more than 4 games next year, and I anticipate Florida and Bama will absolutely annihilate them.

But I'm right there with you, it will be fascinating to watch.

For many of us Bama fans and alums, Aubarn is not the team that we hate the most. We reserve much of our angst for the hillbilly's from Rocky Top. With the Great Pumpkin now retired they are in an identity crisis, which hopefully will be prolonged and make them wish that they had as visionary a coach as Mike Shula.

I'd heard Whitey was going to interview for the UTK job. What happened?
            Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."
