Rumor is that Richardson's injury was an ACL and will miss the rest of the season. With Fuga already lost for the season we are razor thin at NT. I guess Manu will man the middle and one of the ends will spell him. Any other options out there for NT? I'm worried.

It will be Manu and Vic So'oto. I expect to see a great deal of Rowley and Bryson at DE. BYU's DL will be up to the task. Not optimal but given their circumstances they will surprise us all.

Yeah when Fuga went down Manu was his backup. But J-rich has been playing so well he actually beat Manu out. Manu will be fine in the middle with Vic and resurgent Putnam on the ends. Bryson and Rowley will spell them.

Speaking of Putnam the guy has been a huge disappointment throughout most of his career but the last few games he has really stepped up.

Sadly, I think Putnam is terrible. The only hope when he's in the game is that he gets a bat down.

          I thought Rowley was redshirting?
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

They pulled it a few weeks ago.

From Wrubell's tweets from the press conference:
Bronco: torn ACL for Jordan Richardson; out for season. Replaced by Eathyn Manumaleuna at NT.
Bronco: Simote Vea (walk-on) backs up Manumaleuna; DE Graham Rowley will do some cross-training at NT.
Matt Peterson also played at least one play at NT in garbage time in the last game.

Amazing how well the D has been playing with major injuries, Pendleton, Fuga, Thomas all starters. Now we lose another. Hopefully they can keep it going.

It's sad, but it's strange how I feel right now about the team and the rest of the season.

A few weeks ago, the season was basically lost. We had two faint hopes: 1) Heaps would get it together, show some improvement, and give us hope for next year and 2) we could win 4 out of last 5 and go to a bowl, giving the young team another month to practice and creating something positive out of the season to build on.

We've met those goals so suddenly. Anything else is gravy. So this injury is unfortunate and may even be a factor in either the Utah game or the bowl game, but I don't even care about victories in those games. I'm satisfied.

Matt Peterson is only about 255 pounds but he does play Nose Tackle on the scout team.
