  • Odds of Oregon playing TCU in the BCS title game?

That would be a wild game. I'd much rather see it other than Oregon/Auburn. Oregon would put 70 on Auburn's defense.

I do not know the odds of such an occurrence. Have you tried any of the sports betting websites?

I think TCU is in a good position. They have no lose-able games left. Oregon has 3, Auburn has Alabama, then a SEC championship game if they get by that.

I think TCU will likely be in the Championship game.

Boise > TCU. Shame. I'd much rather see BSU and Oregon.

          36%

          My two minute calculation:

          Odds of making title game:
          TCU: 75%
          Oregon: 48%
          Boise St: 28%
          Auburn: 22%
          LSU: 16%
          Stanford: 11%

Auburn is going to lose to Alabama.

Alabama losing to LSU cleared a huge hurdle for TCU. A one loss Alabama team would have made it ahead of TCU and I think they're the only one loss team that could have pulled that off. First, Alabama is a defending champ and started out the year as prohibitive favorites and second their first loss was relatively early in the year.

I don't see any of the remaining Pac 10 teams on Oregon's schedule being able to beat them. Stanford stood the best chance and promptly jumped out to a lead but Oregon completely kicked their ass in the second half.

So, TCU vs. Oregon looks like a very strong possibilty. I think it will be a good matchup. Unfortunately, I really don't know if TCU is better than Boise State.
Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

I don't know what the odds are, but I would really like to see an Oregon/TCU matchup.

It would be like the unstoppable force meeting the immovable object.

My guess is that the collision would result in:

It was also a bad week for Sparky Anderson.

Like I said, Utah suffered the SI curse last week with the nice spread about Whittingham.

I think Oregon and TCU are safe. Oregon has Cal but it looks like Kevin Riley is done for the year.

The curse only applies to the cover. And already, we know one of the three cover subjects is going to get the shaft if all three finish unbeaten.

I'd say about 50-50 right now.
