The logic makes no sense. Why would we care that a Utah team is undefeated when we play them? We already played the better team (TCU) and lost badly.

I won't root for either team. If somehow a meteor would crash into the middle of the field during the game, not killing anyone, but maybe infecting both teams and perhaps fans, especially the turncoats, with some sort of affliction that would make them all stink so bad that they had to be quarantined for a year, I could get behind that.

My logic says that if Utah is good enough to beat TCU, BYU will have little chance against them this year.

This is hard for me to admit, but there are several Ute fans here that I <gulp> respect, even like, and I can take some vicarious pleasure from their joy. On the other hand, when things are going badly in Provo, the Schadenfreude of a Ute loss provides some comfort. And the thought of the Utes in a BCS title game skeeves me out.
