  • The Top Pro Factories

A fun, quick read about the top 8 pro factories churning out NBA draft picks for the past 15 years.

Most are no surprise, but one definitely was unexpected.

What is most interesting is to read the names of big-impact college players that went on to flounder in the NBA. Is the jump in NBA (and NFL) talent that notable between college and the pros? I guess so.

Who was the surprise? Georgia tech? They always seem to have one good player with a bunch of scrubs. That will continue next year as they just received a commitment from Derrick Favors the number 4 player in the country.

      Yes.

I would have guessed a more basketball oriented school like Stanford would be there before Georgia Tech. Maybe Wake Forest, Maryland, et al.

Of course Georgia Tech's "other notables" was a pretty bad list.

True, but some day Thaddeus Young will help that list.
