  • Mazza Cafe

Mpfunk and I enjoyed going to Mazza Cafe in Salt Lake tonight. Delicious stuff. We ordered the stuffed grape leaves and fried kibbeh, and shared the lamb and rice entree.

Yuuuuuum. We tried the Cedars of Lebanon about a month ago and were sorely disappointed by the runny hummus and tabbouleh that tasted like parsley.

Mazza Cafe rocks. I've yet to eat something there that wasn't delicious.

I've yet to find a Middle Eastern deli that I enjoy as much as Mazza. Yes, others may taste better, but Mazza has a lot of nice memories for me. The owner is always friendly and the food is fresh. Try the Kabob Sandwich sometime. It's my fav.

Agree on Cedars of Lebanon. What a dump.

I ate there a couple of weeks ago. Wasn't expecting much. What a pleasant surprise.

I ate there several years ago and couldn't remember what the place was called to go back. Thanks.

I am thinking if Mezza is equivalent to the word Mazze in Farsi which means Taste.

Lebanese foods were what ,which saved a bunch of starving Iranians visiting Kuala Lumpor who were fed up with customized MacDonald and Malaysian foods. We were about to go on food strike before finding this place.

How come when I say that Mexicans are distracting people, people tell me I'm a freaking racist?

You need to conclude your declaration with a smiley emoticon. It's similar to the principle my mom taught me as a kid, that the maraschino cherry on top of a fudge sundae absorbed the calories contained in everything beneath it.

do you put a "" after your Mexican remarks? If not, that's obviously your problem.

Sounds like a good place, and I think I'll go try it tomorrow. I found two in Salt Lake though. Is one better than the other or are they pretty much the same?
                              Not that, sickos.
