  • disposal queswtion

My disposal has developed a leak. It is coming out of the bottom of the unit itself. like maybe a seal inside is no longer effective. All the connections are tight. The leak is from the actual disposal unit. The unit still operates and the leak is just water, no particulates. I am tempted to just get a new one (this one is pretty old; like 20 years). Any ideas?
    PLesa excuse the tpyos.

Badger 3 and the Badger 5 are the same, except for a blocked hole on the 3, which is the dishwasher drain. Buy the 3, and take a drill and drill out the plug, and save $30

I tried looking up the Badger 3, and it seems to be discontinued. Get at least the 1/2 horse though. Badger 5 sounds like your best bet.

thanks. It looks like the now tell you to remove the plug from the 5 if you have a dishwasher.

What you do is take the handle end of a broom and...no. Nevermind.
