I have zero expectations for a BYU win Saturday and only an inkling of hope for a competitive game, but to see BYU as a 29.5 underdog, wow !!!. When was the last time BYU was a 3 TD dog, let along 4+? Ouch.

And the sad thing about that is that unless BYU can put together a few first downs the spread will be all but a distant memory by the 3rd quarter.Originally posted by Art Vandelay View PostI have zero expectations for a BYU win Saturday and only an inkling of hope for a competitive game, but to see BYU as a 29.5 underdog, wow !!!. As if that matters at all in anything other than RUTS. Last time a checked, a beatdown still equals 1 loss. And as for OCD, he's just pissed the Cougars and Utes hogged the conference "spotlight". If he's pissed at anyone he should be pissed at his own AD for not yet striking while the iron was hot.Originally posted by SloanHater View PostI don't think Gary has forgotten September 1, 2010."Either evolution or intelligent design can account for the athlete, but neither can account for the sports fan." - Robert Brault

It's the first time I can remember not picking BYU to win. And not only am I picking them to lose, but to lose by 45. I think Saturday will seem a lot like the Texas A&M Holiday Bowl.Originally posted by byu71 View PostAccording to someone on CB, historically an underdog team by 30 pts or more wins 1.3% of the time. Because the BYU offense is so impotent it would not surprise me if GP is relatively conservative on offense. Between this a very spirited defensive effort I think BYU stays relatively within striking distance until the 4th quarter, which is when I think the defense will just be so exhausted that it starts to break down.Originally posted by CJF View PostIt's the first time I can remember not picking BYU to win. I see it more like 31-3, or zero, with TCU getting 14 in the 4th quarter.Do Your Damnedest In An Ostentatious Manner All The Time!
