Yes, especially after hearing about the Mexican authorities worrying about an ambush in the same place. It's certainly plausible. Doesn't mean it's true.
Is it a common thing to go jetskiing in the Rio Grande? Is it common if you know that drug gangs are in the proximity?
The Mexican border (at least the Mexican side) is worse than what was going on in Miami back in the 80s.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Among major conferences, the Pac-10 is the best academically, largely because of Stanford, Cal and UCLA. “Colorado is on a par with Oregon,” he said. “Utah isn’t even in the picture.”

These drug gangs are as brutal as they come. Did anyone hear about that shallow grave of something like 30 people that were murdered all at once by the one of the cartels/gangs? They don't hesitate to kill anyone.Part of it is based on academic grounds. Sounds credible to me. Apparently there are plenty of reports of violence on that lake and we've been telling citizens to avoid the Mexican side for a long time now. Maybe there's something else to the story, like maybe she and her husband witnessed something while they were taking photographs of that old church....Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

credible or not, our southern border is jacked up,

A search for a missing American tourist presumably shot and killed by Mexican pirates on a border lake has been thwarted by threats of an ambush from drug gangs, U.S. officials said Thursday.
