If hiring Leach represents a potential "bite", then having Locksley around is the equivalent of Jaws on crack.

This is a genius hire if it comes through. We're talking 720-degree, double-clutch tomahawk dunk here. West Texas is Leach's stomping grounds, and it's where UNM has made any hay in recruiting. He will cut into Tech's recruiting, and get to play them rather frequently (although that could change).

I think staring at a 0-12 season bites some more. Leach is worth the risk.
