I rarely bet on BYU games. When I do, I lose. I took BYU against Air Force. I wanted Florida State in a big way last week, but couldn't make it out to Wendover. Nevada is going to kill BYU this week. Absolute murder. Might as well make some cash on it.

Yes. It's getting harder and harder to get money into the accounts, though. They also have daily limits on deposits.

I just meant that BlueHair was sounding a little disgusted with BYU's performance so far, but placing a bet in Wendover means a long boring drive, the cost of gas, and well, being in Wendover. And you wont feel any better, even when you win. And as SCCoug points out, it's threatening karma.

No kidding. One thinks of the 2003 Utah game when pretty much everyone was putting money on Urban to cover easily. And then the karmic gods descended from their arctic perch, providing a 3-0 groin kick--a frustrating loss without the monetary balm of a hedge bet win.

I've bet on the Utes a few times. Every single time, it seems, they don't cover the spread, but still win the game. A double kick in the nuts.

I happen to live in a state that allows gambling. If some extra funds suddenly appeared in my account one day, it is entirely feasible that I would stop by a local sports book and put all that money on Nevada. It is also feasible that I would demand a 10% take of any winnings, assuming I were to do this. If the bet did not produce any winnings, I would probably not demand any fee.
