There's a radio button at the bottom of your working post in the "additional options" box that says "disable smilies in text."

No, you don't have to go advanced. I just noticed it's a checkbox, not a radio button, though. I didn't even look before. Sorry about that.

Show your sig,
Auto parse links in text,
auto embed media.
Attach Files: Manage Attachments
Thread Subscription

Let's try this: Go into your User CP and click on Edit Options. Scroll to the bottom and look in the Message Editor Interface. Which option is selected? In mine it is: "Enhanced Interface - Full WSYIWYG Editing".

Katy, you can also avoid that smiley and irritate Babs at the same time by adding an extra space.
