Comparing 2007 and 2010 BYU Teams

I'm don't have the football smarts to break things down by position like some here do, but I will say I am excited to watch this team develop. In a lot of ways, this season reminds me of 2007. Lots of youth, lots of unknowns. 2007 was the year we met Unga, Pitta, George, Hall's first year as a starter, etc. I think we can all agree that 2007 results would be fantastic for this year.

We had 2007 because, as it turns out, we had Hall, Pitta, Collie, and Unga, all of whom are now getting NFL money (and none of whom played the year before, except for Unga, who had a few downs before getting injured and redshirted). We also had solid players returning on defense, several of whom are now in the pros. If we quickly find guys of NFL caliber to fill those positions, you bet, we win 10 games.

We as fans have been greatly spoiled in the last few years. Hall in particular was under-appreciated.
