  • Mobile CUF

Is there a mobile version of CUF? I find myself spending my mobile message board time more on CB as the mobile version makes it very easy to navigate. If there isn't a comparable version of CUF, do any of you have tips or suggestions as to blackberry and/or CUF settings to make the mobile experience more user friendly?

There's three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who's got the same first name as a city; and never go near a lady's got a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

I couldn't even get it to work on my BB for the first few weeks I was on here. It isn't very user friendly, perhaps if you turn avatars off. I usually just do mobile CB when I need a fix and only have my phone.

Is it even possible to do a "mobile" version using vbulletin? It would be nice to have mobile CUF, as donut suggested.

I know that it never really got off the ground for CG. It would be a cool achievement for CUF to take that next big step in message board evolution.

I'll put this on my queue. Looks like there are some options:

            http://www.vbulletin.org/forum/showthread.php?t=173239

I don't use a mobile device, so I will need some help testing. If anyone is willing to do a little research on the add-ins and offer some advice, I would appreciate it.

Where is BFM? He was able to do the application for CG. I thought he'd have joined us by now. Anyone know if he's still posting on CG?

No joke, but why not ask El Jefe about his mobile app? I am sure he could give you some pretty good insight on what to consider, what to avoid, etc.

The archive is formatted for a PDA, but is read only. It's a good way to just keep up with the posts on your mobile.

If you want to post, just run the CUF address through the Google Page Stripper. It's a nice tool for any web site.

As I understand it, jefe's board is entirely custom-coded. His tools won't work here. On the other hand, vbulletin has thousands of users and there are lots of custom tools.
