  • Could the PAC-10 still back out of Utah/Colorado?

    http://www.sfexaminer.com/sports/Dic...101138474.html

According to this article, it still requires a vote from the Chancellors and Presidents. I would gather that these sorts of things are more rubber-stampy than real policy decision making, but I suppose it would be within their power to not rubber stamp it.

I assume (hope?) that there would be some sort of penalty clause should the PAC-10 back out. But where would that leave Utah with the MWC? This clusterfuck could get, erm, clusterfuckier?

I enjoyed the comments section where Ute fans are having to defend graduation rates and missions. Now that you guys will be "that Mormon school" you'll have all kinds of fun with the same tired arguments. Prepare to hear about your players being really old as you have success over there.

The Utes don't have anything to worry about. SU told me that the guy pushing this is some old demented fart...

I didn't see that at the end of that thread. I officially close this thread.

Feel free to post your comments/mocking there.

            That's It!!!

This is the answer. Utah and Colorado are replacing Fresno and Nevada in the WAC. I feel so stupid for not seeing this coming.
