We were already playing at Texas, so this is actually a 2 for 1.

Actually you are wrong, this is a completely separate deal. The first deal was signed with no further games planned. This is a new deal.

FACT: Texas would not agree to come to Provo if the MWC still owned the broadcast rights.

            Speculate away...

I'm sure we can all figure out what this is about. BYU and Texas have played twice before, with BYU winning both games. Texas needs to schedule enough games with us to take the lead in the series, 3-2. Otherwise we wouldn't be getting any games with them.

Didn't Texas do a home and home with Wyoming the last two years?

No they did not, it was a 2 for 1.

                    Nice try though.

But money and broadcast rights don't matter! All we care about is good football!
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

2 for 1. But, as landpoke alerted us, Wyoming plans to welch on the return trip to Austin. Bwhahahahahaha

I read the headline. Home and home, aside from the one which we were already playing. A de facto 2 for 1.

They won't make the same mistake twice. Sometimes you don't realize how bad the TV deal is until you see it up close.
