Unlike others on this list, Kyle Whittingham’s biggest crime wasn’t ditching his school for another. It was turning down a job offer from his alma mater BYU to take a position with its biggest rival, Utah. Ouch. Making matters worse is that Whittingham not only played at BYU, but he was Provo born and raised with most of his immediate family in the area. To be fair, Whittingham had spent years has an assistant with the Utes. In fact he spent more time at Utah than he did playing for BYU. So despite the rivalry, we’re pretty sure fans would understand his decision.
