I'll start by giving some observations

Utah and Byu are 125 to 1 odds to win the BCS National Championship
Not even worth a $1 bet

Over/Under on Regular Season Boise St is 11. They only have 12 Reg Season games as they play Hawaii at home. Take the under.

Week One line's I really like

Colo St getting 13 versus Colorado
    Washington getting 3 versus byu

Games I wavering on and make better sense as part of a tease.

Hawaii getting 19.5 at home versus USC (All the offseason stuff has then sputtering)
New Mexico getting 34 at Oregon (New QB makes it difficult to cover)
Fresno St getting 2 at home versus Cincy

BSU has failed to win 11 regular season games once in the past 4 years, and they won 10 that year. This isn't the year I'd pick them to lose 2 games. I'd abstain from betting on the over/under.

Exactly I think they are due for a conference loss. One of those quirky games like Oregon st has given USC recently.

I also think they lose in DC.

This is the WAC not the Pac-10. Nobody will sneak up on them.

That $1 is well spent. I put BYU's odds at winning the BCS championship at 3,000:1.

I don't understand why people keep poo-pooing BSU. They're returning every starter from that Fiesta Bowl save 1st Round pick Kyle Wilson. Moore is arguably the most underrated QB in the country. And they've lost what like 4 games in 4 years? I don't think VA Tech has any idea what is coming. And Oregon State will probably be one dimensional early breaking in a new QB. And if BYU can shut down the Rodgers midgets then surely BSU can. That defense didn't give TCU anything last year. Unless something wacky happens with the BCS, I think they'll be back in Tempe again.

Betus.com has BYU and Utah at 10000:1. TCU at 1200:1.

I just think they are due for a game where things go wrong. A couple unfortunate injuries and some weird turnovers. Kind of like Utep v Byu in 1985. I think the away game against VA Tech will be a good close game.

Are you sure that is right? I think TCU is +1200 which means they are a 12 to 1.

BYU and Utah are +10000 (100 to 1).

I was hoping your were right! I was going lay at least $100 on TCU. $100 to win $120,000 would be too hard to pass up.

                        BSU is 8:1.

Yeah. The knock on BSU vs. Va. Tech right now is that BSU can't handle the team speed on defense. I'd go out on a limb and say that Va. Tech doesn't have anyone as good as Darryl Washington or Jerry Hughes and Boise seemed to do just fine against them.

It is a virtual home game for Va. Tech, but I think Boise can pull it off.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.

VA Tech is replacing a lot of their defense. I don't think they can hang with Boise.
