At least so far it's weak.
Is it because of a lack of star power?
I see this commit list, http://byu.scout.com/a.z?s=338&p=9&c=8&yr=2011, and it's just depressing. BYU has a high number of early commits from average recruits and Kuresa is the only current skill position commit. This is a recipe for a poor recruiting class, considering BYU gets the majority of their recruiting done prior to the start of the season.
I realize that anything compared to last year would be weak, but I get the feeling the coaches have gotten a little complacent after last years record haul. A handful of really good LDS recruits have committed to other programs and its looking like Matthews is headed to Utah and Langi is going out of state.
