  • Kaveinga

It's being floated on both CB and TBS that Kav is in for this year. I haven't seen anything in the news media but if true it takes care of on of my big defensive concerns.

If this is true I'll be seriously stoked.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

Has he got clearance yet? I was under the impression he still needed to get it approved since he transferred before the sanctions against USC were handed down.

The word is he was cleared to play. If true thank you Reggie Bush!

Wasn't Kaveinga seriously considering a mission?

Now I question the strength of his testimony.

Probably better for his testimony that he not go given what happened to Luke.

This kid is breaking my heart all over again. First he picks USC over BYU.

Now he picks playing this year instead of going on a mission.

My testimony is suffering as well.

Kaveinga is a wishy-washy dude that can't figure out what school to play for and can't figure out whether to serve a mission or not.

In other words, Kaveinga is a normal kid.

If this is true my biggest concern about The BYU team has been resolved. I think Kav playing this year puts BYU even or maybe even ahead of Utah in my preseason rankings.

I might agree if we still had Harvey, but we won't have the Utes' ability to pound the ball in tight games like they have between Asiata and Wide. I really like the way our D is shaping up though. The back 8 have the potential to be really good and much faster than I can remember in a long time. We need to find another safety though. Are they still contemplating switching Aguirre or somebody else over from CB? If Thomas is our starter there, we're in trouble.
