  • Uh oh. DOMA is on the docket now.

    http://www.breitbart.com/article.php...show_article=1

District court in Massachusetts rules DOMA, the federal law which defines marriage as between a man and a woman, is unconstitutional. Next up: Circuit Court appeal.

    This will be interesting.

Don't go using states' rights against them! It's only acceptable when you're dealing with the immigration Mexican problem.

The day it gets overturned in the SC is the day the Church stops marriages in the temples. We'll be moving to the European model - get married at town hall, get sealed in the temple...

And more happiness to all the people that can attend a wedding who are not believing members. That would be glorious.

A happy day indeed! Family and friends won't be needlessly excluded from wedding anymore. Although, I seriously doubt this would happen. There is no way the government will tell churches they have to do gay weddings.

If you are not believing why would you care? Sounds pretty selfish to me.

The gay agenda is..........force church's to conduct gay marriages or lose their tax-exempt status. That is their payback. Much like the AA community when OJ was acquitted. It's all payback! Wonder when the crackers in the US payback.

Speaking of state's rights. They have the right to create sanctuary cities that are clearly against Federal illegal immigration laws but you can't enforce state laws that mirror what the federal laws are (AZ). I'm really getting confused by states vs. federal rights these days.

Oh, I forgot, it depends .....

because you would like to see your loved ones get married.

The civil wedding ceremonies I have seen to date.......have been underwhelming.

Professor Geoffrey Stone, of The University of Chicago Law School, and his take on DOMA:

Note that Mormons are entitled to equal protection, too. Thanks, Professor Stone!

Maybe so. But it would sure be nice for parents, grandparents and children to see their siblings get married. Try explaining to your grandparent why they are not welcome or invited to see you get married.

So the church is more worried about money than family? Interesting. Maybe they should just charge admission to cover the taxes.

I missed the logical connection. Actually, the gay community is more interested in sticking it to the churches than their two mother, two father families.

BTW......can you show me any study that shows that children are better off in a gay marriage than a hetero marriage? I keep searching but can't find one.

Oh wait, it's not about the children it's about the gay couple. Sorry, I forgot.
