Honestly, with the Beatles, I wouldn't even know where to start.

I like the Ballad of John and Yoko, but I don't think I currently have a single playlist that includes a Beatles song.

Blackbird's my favorite Beatles song, although I agree with Babs--very tough to choose.

                Other favorites:
                While My Guitar Gently Weeps
Penny Lane (my wife taught this one, Lucy In the Sky With Diamonds, and Hey Jude to my kids from infancy)
You've Got to Hide Your Love Away
                Norwegian Wood
                And I Love Her

And then the early stuff is all fun:
                Twist and Shout
                Hard Day's Night
                Eight Days a Week
                etc...
(all of these sound the same to me, but they're all fun to listen to)

At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

Love all of these. Such good songs.

And I love her always blows me away. I love that Spanish intro.

Yeah, as I'm reading through everyone's list, it's becoming abundantly clear who the biggest band ever is. I'll just go and sit in the corner in shame.

Also abundantly clear--while drugs can cause a band to put out a lot of crap, they're also essential to really great music.

Still some glaring admissions (Yesterday, anyone?).

I have no particular favorites, as there's something for pretty much any occasion or mood, so my choice varies. There are several I sing unabashedly in the car (assuming I'm alone), including "I Feel Fine", "Twist and Shout."
"She's a Woman," "Can't Buy Me Love," and (only if absolutely no one's looking) "If I Fell."

Many years ago, during a tedious wedding reception for a sister-in-law, one of my BILs and I were talking about the Beatles and how memorable their songs were. We wrote down each song we could still sing. After we topped 120, the MIL came over, broke up our songfest and made us mingle. I think I could still top 100, although this means no one will sit near me at the next CUF tailgate.

Oh yeah...If I fell. Great song. I'll go out on a gay limb here and say Jason Castro nailed this one on AI.

This is really fun listening to all these again.

I can't even begin to give you a list, but if asked to tell you my favorite ten songs, period, I would include "In My Life" in it. "Let it Be" might make it too.

Playlists are dumb. The Beatles, however, are awesome.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.
