The difference between Christie and Corzine is astounding.

At least not on this site."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

If he can break the teacher's union, that might embolden other governors to end the insanity elsewhere.

Public employee unions have an inherent conflict of interest because the members of those unions also vote for the management of the company (i.e. they can control via elections the very government for which they work). Thus, the members of public employee unions are simultaneously labor and management.
Unions of public employees should be illegal.

How do all the Christie fans here feel about his proposal to have the state take over Atlantic City's casino district?

But it sounds like he is mostly proposing to transfer some local government operations, which are failing, to the state. I don't have any general objection to that, especially in a state as small as New Jersey. And especially since he is talking about crime--one of the primary functions of government.
I love that he is proposing to get out of the pro sports complex business.
Some of the rest sounds like some additional government intrusion, but I doubt anybody here can speak intelligently about it, not being familiar with NJ and what the problems are with the gaming.

He looks exactly like Bobby from the Sopranos:
