  • BamaCoug hosting press junkets again

BamaCoug is making me wax nostalgic for the cougarblue days when he would send a weekly info packet to different press outlets on why BYU should be included in a BCS game back in 2001.

That was embarrassing. I can't believe he listed the Deseret Duel.

Have you guys considered a PR firm? I heard Creative Arts Agency is a good one.

I would like to see BYU in the Big 12, but the thought of BYU and Texas in the same league makes me queasy. I suffer enough cognitive dissonance as is.

Who will you be rooting for when BYU plays at Texas next year? I have a few teams I cheer for, but I can say without a doubt that when and if those teams play BYU, I would cheer for the Cougs.

I know you are still somewhat new to being around LDS folks, we capitalize Alma as we consider him and his son prophets.

Excellent question. I honestly don't know. Do I have to pick sides?

I certainly hope to attend the game.

The only time I've ever heard of Alma as a female name is in the classic Don Knotts' film The Ghost and Mr. Chicken.

It is an extremely common female name among Spanish speakers. It means "soul".

Interesting. It's true that one learns something every day.

And lets not forget the once likely first lady Alma Powell

Yeah, you do, Jeff. And if you go with your graduate school instead of your undergrad school... well then there is no hope for you.
