Most of his fees are paid for by residents of Utah, unless he had some family money, which I doubt. This is the price of a fair society. Post-appeal appeals are usually done pro bono or by some foundation devoted to the cause.PLesa excuse the tpyos.

I know this is off-topic, but for some reason, I've been thinking about this execution a lot. I'm slowing switching from pro-death penalty to anti-death penalty. This guy got way too much air time. Maybe it would have been better and cheaper to just give him life in prison and let him quietly spend his days there without all of this hoopla. I'm pissed that I've given him so much thought.Just try it once. One beer or one cigarette or one porno movie won't hurt. - Dallin H. Oaks

Was Gardner ever baptized LDS. Excommunication is mandatory for murder but did he ever join the church or get baptized as a child.
I sometimes see infamous murderers on the family history website and some have had there work done for them. Won't do any good since they will be going to the Telestial Kingdom anyway if they were accountable. Interesting to see though.
Gary Gilmore, Arthur GAry Bishop had there work done for them. I would think that a waste of time and if it was me doing htere work I would walk out maybe. The only person executed in Idaho recently grew up LDS. He had his work done for him after the execution. He demanded execution Keith Eugene Wells.
James Edward Wood came close a few times before going to hell do to a Heart Attack on Death Row. They don't need all the appeals. And if someone knew for sure they would die for murder than the murder rate would go down big time.

That's like Sam, when he thought he was too good for Charly, before the bishop put him in his place.
