    In summary..........

    Glorious to be a Ute today. Sucks to be a Cougar today.

    One of the two biggest sports stories in the history of Utah, and BYU is a footnote, if that.

    Let's hope BYU gets into the Big Twen somehow. Like it or not, the BCS is dog in college athletics. Everyone else is the tail.

    One silver lining in all of this for BYU fans is that we can forever remove the "ex" from "exUte". This is now beyond all question.

        THAR she goes again! Wow. That would be the silver lining for BYU fans? I guess it's better than nothing.

          If this is one of the 2 biggest sports stories in the history of Utah, then Utah has no sports history. What an embarrassing statement to make.

            I think you underestimate the impact this is going to have on the state. SLC just went from associating itself with Laramie and Fort Collins to LA, SF, and Seattle. You are who you hang out with. This is HUGE, make no mistake about it.

              No way. He chose to leave and we Utes don't believe in altruism. The prodigal son made his decision and is now out of the will.

                  Yes. Unfortunately SLC has more in common with Pullman, Tucson and Tempe than with LA, San Fran or Seattle.

                    I find it interesting that DU UTE has yet to link some youtube video in this thread.
