I don't understand how Colorado was able to dictate terms as described in that article, and for that reason I remain a bit skeptical about scheduling. Not having SC or the Bruins on their home schedules will definitely leave Cal and Stanfurd fans extremely bummed. I don't mean to knock Utah here, but I would think that even most Utah fans would understand if a Cal fan is bothered a lot that USC and UCLA (lifelong rivals) will be replaced by Colorado and Utah.

They're not understanding at all. Not an ounce of introspection in the entire fan base.

Ain't it like most people, I'm no different. We love to talk on things we don't know about.

this article gives some interesting history on the utah/colorado history. they have, amazingly, played 57 times and used to be in the same conference, although the last time the utes played colorado was 1961. not the ingredients for a great rivalry, but at least there is some history there.
except for th epart where we are talking about Cal and he is talking about BYU?
Colly, don't fall for SU's obsessive-compulsive disorder of bringing everything back to BYU. creekster's right; it's the local fans who are a bit, well, concerned about the new admittees and the potentially adverse effects.
But as long as you're following SU's gratuitous feint, you need to give things a little time. It's a bit early to condemn BYU's leaders, even those of Ute origin. If BYU is still on the outside looking in a year or two from now, then let the bitching commence. Only then will I say, "A riot is an ugly thing, and it's time vee had vun!" For now, relax.
