  • What this reminds me of most of all

LA said this reminded him of the run up to WWI. I disagreed and said it reminded me of "Barbarians at the Gate". I've changed my mind. Those of you who have memory back to 1970, remember when Paul McCartny was terminally ill? Everyone glued to their radios. All the clues, the rumors, the album covers, etc.? This reminds me of that.

Is that where the "Paul is dead" urban legend stems from?

I cant wait until I am old enough to remember events that took place 40 years ago and apply them to current events.
"Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Yes, you'll look back and remember exactly where you were and what you were doing when Chip Brown tweeted, "aTm to the SEC; done deal."
          Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

I'm telling you, Triplet's posting from MBN's account. MBN didn't used to be half this funny.

That makes zero sense. Triplet is not funny.

this is starting to remind me of the campfire game "telephone" where someone whispers a fact and then everyone whispers it to the next person to see if it changes through the passing along.

Just check the Lakers thread and see if MBN is making post-game analysis.

                            I absolutely hate the Lakers.

And the USC Trojans, can't stand them either.
