BYU fans, why do you want Utah to fail in its quest for the Pac?

lol "fascilities."Prepare to put mustard on those words, for you will soon be consuming them, along with this slice of humble pie that comes direct from the oven of shame set at gas mark “egg on your face”! -- Moss
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese. --Coach Finstock

How about an "I agree with LA Ute and Lavell Edwards" option?
LaVell Edwards against Conference ExpansionGive 'em Hell, Cougars!!!
For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.
Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

The only reason I don't want the Utes to go is because I think BYU needs Utah in the MWC along with BSU, KU, KSU, Missouri, and heck, Memphis to turn the conference into a BCS conference. I want Utah in a BCS conference. I just want BYU in one more. And the most likely way for BYU to get into a BCS conference is to hope the MWC gets a bid. Utah leaving hurts those chances significantly.A man who views the world the same at fifty as he did at twenty has wasted thirty years of his life. - Mohammad Ali

If Utah goes to a bcs conference and byu is left out I'm going to move to France in protest."Discipleship is not a spectator sport. We cannot expect to experience the blessing of faith by standing inactive on the sidelines any more than we can experience the benefits of health by sitting on a sofa watching sporting events on television and giving advice to the athletes. And yet for some, “spectator discipleship” is a preferred if not primary way of worshipping." -Pres. Uchtdorf

Randy Galloway of Star-Telegram makes a good argument why Texas and TAMU need to stay together. A lot of what he said could apply to the argument of keeping Utah and BYU together in the same conference as well. Utah may try to "rival up" with the Bufs but it will never be like playing the Cougs."If there is one thing I am, it's always right." -Ted Nugent.
"I honestly believe saying someone is a smart lawyer is damning with faint praise. The smartest people become engineers and scientists." -SU.
"Yet I still see wisdom in that which Uncle Ted posts." -creek.

Now, back to what my thoughts were on what SU asked. Do you want to deny or expound?
I think you just confirmed my point. Wah, wah, wah. For BYU fans' sake, let's hope Holmoe is proactive in all this rather than towing the party line.....ah the MWC is perfect for us and we enjoy the $2M we get from our association with the MWC.
