    61 points, 3 Assists

    or

    53 points, 10 boards and 11 assists

Amazing back-to-back individual performances against the Knicks. Lebron answers Kobe's amazing night with something that hasn't been done in over 30 years (A 50-point triple-double).

    Wow.

    Wow.
61 points on fewer shots. Also, the Cavs needed that triple double to beat the Knicks. The Lakers game was never in question. Still unreal performance. Like I said in the Lakers thread, Cavs fans have another year to enjoy the ride. Knicks fans just got a taste.

      B no doubt.
So Russell...what do you love about music? To begin with, everything.

        Kobe's 81 points.

3 rings is the greater accomplishment.

Also, LeBron needs to stop getting credit for ripping KG off with his talc clap. KG had been doing that for years. LeBron simply threw the talc in the air.

Chamberlain scored 100. Chamberlain > Kobe

Russell has 11 rings. Russell > Kobe

I don't think anyone is arguing that, but nice troll.

53, 10 and 11 is up there with 81 in my opinion.

I guess it is up there. It is just 28 points short.

Have any of you voting for A played basketball? I love Kobe. I think he's the best player in the league right now and will eventually eclipse MJ, if he hasn't already. But I'd take Lebron's game over Kobe's game, without a second thought.

I remember promising my coach I'd score 20 before a game one time. His answer: "I'll take 10 boards over 10 baskets any day."

EDIT: I guess no one voted for A, so disregard. Good call.

At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

I never vote on the polls.

I get a kick out of how LeBron claims that he doesnt go out and play for numbers, yet he grabbed the final rebound with less than 2 seconds left in the game. A meaningless rebound...except he wanted to pad his stats and get the triple double. No worries...lots of players do that. Good to see LBJ knows who the real king is. I wonder how many points Kobe could have scored had he stayed in the final 2 minutes of the game? Kobe should have chucked up a 3 with the buzzer expiring.

LBJ is amazing. I love watching him play. But who did the Olympic team defer to at the end of the games? And if you ask LBJ who the best player in the world is he says Kobe. Enough said.

Kobe was in the game with under 5 minutes left and a 16 point lead, you dont think he was trying to get the record?
