No bail out for candle makers

I went birthday shopping for my wife and swung by Illuminations. They were having a massive liquidation sale, the whole store. The entire chain is kaput. I bought nearly a full shopping bag full of candles. What would have cost several hundred dollars five weeks ago cost $46.00. I was in pig heaven, the only guy in the place, which was a mad house.

I was thinking that there must have been an age in which candle makers were a critical industry deserving of a bail out.

I'm waiting for the liquidation sale on global warming.

A candle is a terrible present to buy someone else. Someone bought some candles for Faith and I when we go married (thirteen years ago). Who wants some stranger picking the scent for their house?
