I have broken down all of BYU and Utahs commits by the 3 major recruiting services. ESPN, Rivals and Scout. You can click on the link below and check out the table that shows how they stack up against one another.
- First number on ESPN rankings is position rank, second number is their grade per ESPN.
-Rivals and Scout numbers after Stars are their position rankings. (Also a 1 star from Scout, generally means unevaluated)

A few things really stood out:
1. The prime recruits in each class for both teams are Richard Wilson, Kyle Van Noy, Craig Bills for BYU. Latu Heimuli, LT Filiaga, Chris Washington for Utah.
2. ESPN is not high at all on Craig Bills, he is a 4 star on both Rivals and Scout and the number 10 and 15 safety. Yet on ESPN he is the 147th ranked Safety. But they love Terry Alletto who they have as the number 4 Center and with the highest grade (80) of any player in either class.
3. On the Utah side, ESPN loves Kapua Sai ranking him as the 13th best guard and highest grade overall of any Utah commit. Scout and Rivals dont think very highly of him and both have him ranked as a 2 star.
4. Highest rated player for BYU by ESPN is Terry Alletto, by Rivals is Kyle Van Noy, and by Scout is Craig Bills.
5. Highest rated player for Utah by ESPN is Kapua Sai, by Rivals and Scout is Latu Heimuli.
6. Biggest discrepancies Adam Timo position ranking of 144 by ESPN and 25 by Scout. For Utah Vyncent Jones has a position ranking of 22 by Scout and 135 by ESPN.
7. Scout has BYU with a higher rated recruiting class, Rivals has Utah both are within 10 spots of each other. I couldnt find ESPN rankings but with the way they have the players ranked I think they would have BYU because they dont put any weight in to JC players.
8. Players still out there that both teams have a shot at:
BYU: Xavier Sua'filo (top 5 position ranking on all 3 sites, Tyler Pritchard (running back from Mississippi), Manti Te'o (albeit about 1 in a million)
Utah: Xavier Sua'filo (probably the favorites right now), Keenan Graham (50/50 for Utah, 4 star D-end), Mike Laloni (D-end from snow college most likely the option if Graham doesnt commit)
