  • Hip Hop High School songs.

I was driving home from work today, and I heard the following song by Ginuwine being covered by a group called "Far". It got me thinking about some of my favorite and sometimes forgotten hip-hop/R&B songs from High School.

(classic because it features 'Lil Penny)

        Thanks for the help.

I don't know if that qualifies as hip-hop, but it's as close as 1982 gets to it.

I'm not familiar with hip-hop, but do these folks frequently use music by a non-hip-hop band for their work?

For me, that was True by Spandau Ballet with drum machines added.

I think "frequently" is a bit of an understatement.

So hip-hop is generally what I always thought it was - people with little to no musical talent gravy training off of others?

Maybe I'm too old to appreciate it.
