  • Former Air Force running back Chad Hall signs with the Eagles.........

Hall is a former MWC player of the year. He was stationed at Hill Air force base in utah and committed to the Air Force for 5 years. It has been 2 years when he decided to go to Utahs pro day and work out. He caught the Eagles eye and they offered him a contract. He however had 3 years left in his commitment, so he went to the Air Force and asked if he could switch from active duty to a reservist and his request was granted.

I saw that story as well. I was trying to figure out how he didn't have to go through the draft. I hope he does well. GO EAGLES.

If he stayed all four years (I'm sure he did) he automatically was eligible for the draft. With a 5-year commitment to the Air Force, it's no wonder nobody drafted him. He's a free agent.
