If Obama is worrying even a little about Limbaugh, he's a complete idiot.

I'd suggest he let Limbaugh say what he's going to say and do the job he was elected to do.

That's a boneheaded move......is there better publicity than the POTUS mentioning you?

Exactly. Limbaugh has to be loving it.

I think that Limbaugh has done for Conservatives (in the past) what Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert are doing for Liberals today. When I was a young Conservative, Limbaugh created a refuge for people like me during the Clinton years. As bad as Clinton was, that reassuring voice behind the EIB always cut through the AM static and reminded us that we were not alone. For the last eight years, as Liberals, the Daily Show and The Colbert Report have preserved our sanity with some of the very best political humor. Both Limbaugh and Stewart/Colbert got people who have historically felt marginalized in the political process to get out and vote. Obama, whether he knows it or not, probably owes his success in some part to Stewart/Colbert, who made political involvement 'cool' for a young people.

I'd bet that stewart and colbert would give their left arms to have the following that Limbaugh has, therein lies the difference between the group.
Let's get on with the gettin' on....

I would give my left nut to never have to hear Rush Limbaugh or Ann Coulter again. I would give both nuts if I could include Sean Hannity in that deal. It's hard to imagine there are people that like them.

Well, Limbaugh and Hannity are nos. 1 and 2 in talk radio. Lots of folks apparently do like them.

I'm not sure if they do or not. I am Libertarian. I hate Liberals and Conservatives equally.

I do enjoy Bill Mahr. I don't agree with much of what he says, but he's entertaining. It's funny he claims to be a Libertarian, but his views are pretty liberal.

I am not sure Rush/Hannity vs. Stewart/Colbert is a fair comparison. Different media, different format, different styles.

What a sad world we live in! Maybe we could put them in the talk radio national championship game. Let's make it a death match. Just out of curiosity - How do you know the talk radio ratings?

I still think they played a similar role as a refuge from the storm during the opposition's tenure. It will be interesting to see how Stewart/Colbert handle things now that 'their guys' got in. I'm sure they will do just fine, since the media itself seems to be the primary target of their most pointed barbs.

My parents are more than happy to give me this info. I'm guessing it could be confirmed by googling.
