So much for the overweight Mormon stereotype.

I will counter that generic study (based on the number of gyms and health food stores) with my own personal observation of loads of thickly cankled moms wearing jumpers to the mall or covering their butts with Ute or Cougar sweatshirts tied around their waist.
      Fitter. Happier. More Productive.

I saw that, but have no clue how that is measured. Have you checked in with the government and let them know your BMI? I haven't. where do you register for that?

Also, seems counter-intuitive that a city that has more pizza parlors and ice cream shops per capita would also be very healthy.

I wonder what the corrolation is between having health food stores and being the epicenter of MLMs? Not sure if there is any, but would be interesting to investigate.

I tend to agree with you, but whom am I - in the name of Richard Dawson - to argue with survey results. They are always 100% accurate, right?

Sounds like someone has SLC envy.

I guess the survey doesn't lie, but whenever I visit Utah, I rarely think, "fitness."

By and large, I think, "ward party with casseroles."

Forget all of that; did they include Sandy in with SLC, or was it just SLC proper? SLC proper is pretty damn small and doesn't really include suburbs.

SLC-proper is less than 50% LDS. It's all the coffee drinkers with higher metabolic processes.
