Michigan in trouble with NCAA..

This is related to the whistle blower on the time limits of practices.. I am sure they will have to monitor the practices and nothing more..

This was stupid. I dislike RR and think he is bad for UM, and at first I was glad to see this happen, but looking back it is just stupid..

Michigan self-imposes 2 years of probation, will cut back practice and training time by 130 hours over the next two years, starting this summer, and they also trimmed the number of assistants -- the so-called quality control staff -- from five to three and banned them from practices, games or coaching meetings for the rest of 2010.

I think this is one big joke. NCAA really needs to stop some of their crap. At times, I have actually considered them to be the Honor Code's Big Brother..

The former. There was some discussion of this when it first came out. I am convinced every school violates these practice rules.

The self imposed sanctions though too are a joke. How absurd that they have to do all that just so the NCAA won't have to. I hate the NCAA sometimes (most times).
