I was just going to say that I hope no BYU fans are critical of this. At least kwhit calls it what it is. I think for continuity sake that it makes sense.Originally posted by SCcoug View PostWhat is a co-offensive coordinator? Sounds like those made up callings in student wards. Of course i guess Bronco and Hill are co-defensive coordinators since Bronco calls the plays during game time.

Not critical of that at all. More critical of his picks to fill out his staff. I'm surprised that nobody was brought in from outside the program at the coordinator positions. This doesn't bother any Ute fans?Originally posted by OrangeUte View PostI was just going to say that I hope no BYU fans are critical of this. At least kwhit calls it what it is. I'm extremely critical of this move. There is no excuse for promoting from within in this situation. The Utes have sent 3 coordinators to head coaches positions in the past 5 years. It should be a very desirable coaching job and we hire 2 people within who do not have even close to the resume to be qualified for the job. Sitake wasn't qualified but at least it made sense because he could be mentored by Whittingham. No one is there to mentor these 2 unqualified candidates.Originally posted by Surfah View PostNot critical of that at all. More critical of his picks to fill out his staff. I'm willing to give KW the benefit of the doubt here. He's done pretty good so far."Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance and the gospel of envy; its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery." - Winston Churchill

Um...hello? We got John Pease. It doesn't get much bigger time than that.Originally posted by cougjunkie View PostThis is not the sign of a big time program. You essentially have two graduate assistants as Co-offensive coordinators.

Well, because he thought it was good sport. Because some men aren't looking for anything logical, like money. They can't be bought, bullied, reasoned, or negotiated with. Some men just want to watch the world burn.
