  • It's official: Utah deserved to be a National Champion

    http://www.utah2008champs.com/

"history was created: for the first time in the entirety of the BCS system, the consensus National Champion selected by the computers (Utah) is not the same as the one selected Champions by the Coaches poll (Florida)."

Is there another explanation for this than anti-Mormonism? Now even I'm feeling the lash of anti-Mormonism. I guess you can't ever completely leave the LDS church.

      Ok, that made me laugh.

        That's golden, SU.

          Parade is tomorrow. Get pumped!

ps btw, SC already broke the controversy barrier. In fact, their controversy was much more compelling than Utah's.

If both USC and LSU can be considered national champions for the 2003 season, why can't both Utah and Florida share a championship? We absolutely think so. After all, the computer polls are as legitimate part of BCS, and agreed upon by all FBS participants.

            LOL.

You're not reading it right. It's an established fact that Utah was no. 1 on four of the six computers used by the BCS, which are these:

                  Massey's is one of them.

                    Not quite true...scroll over.
At least the Big Ten went after a big-time addition in Nebraska; the Pac-10 wanted a game so badly, it added Utah

My bad, so of the 40 computers Utah was number 1 on 5 of them. I think that deserves a parade!

How do you get 4 out of that? 3 of the 6 have Utah number 1.
