A nice brief synopsis to get up to speed on the overall recruiting this off-season. 6 of the 10 teams are Top 25 overall classes.

SC, Ducks, Trees, Commies, and Ruins all looking to have nice classes.

Also, I keep reading that Lache Seastrunk is really giving Oregon the time of day. Although he is apparently a walking rules violation, he is an incredible on-field talent. I think he would be a nice pick-up and would be a potent addition, esp with LMJ already proving this season what he can do.

Shocking how far the Sun Devils have fallen off the map, while the Zona Zoo seems to experiencing a bit of a resurgence.

I have heard that Seastrunk has given Chip a commitment, I have my concerns about that kid though. Not talent wise, he is going to be good wherever he ends up.

I am more concerned that Chip pulls Owa out of the bag, grabbing BYU's throw away of Heimuli would be nice also.

Owa is the in-state kid, right? That would be a huge get, but isn't he Oregon's to lose already?

Seastrunk, from what I hear, is a walking bag of trouble. The problem is that his highlight film is ridiculous. His "trouble" is of recent nature, so it isn't a case of misunderstood teenager making some mistakes a few years ago. Sounds like his arrival could put any program at risk.

SC has fewer than most because many of their scholarships are for 4 and 5 stars that are heavy leans but still yet to finalize their commitment. SC traditionally recruits this way, though. It is common to not know until signing day. On the SC boards, these are known as "Kabooms," when the school lands a big recruit.

I figured that was the case for SC and other schools that are still in the hunt for many 4-5 stars who are uncommited, but what about the smaller schools? Not just PAC 10, but I see lots of schools with very small commit numbers. They can't ALL be waiting for the big recruits to decide...

Seastrunk is silly good on tape, and with the angles the Oregon spread provides would be insane to watch. Like you have said however he is a bag of trouble, and with a high quality RB who will only be a Soph next year I almost wonder if you have to take a pass and get someone next year.

I saw that as well. Does UW do a lot of grey shirts, preferred walk-ons? Unlikely they are prospective missionaries. Then again, UW needs all the help it can get. But I don't want Sark poaching on our commits. I understand he is giving Kona Schwenke the last minute sales job.
