    What's the best way to keep a fan belt from whining so much?

    WD40. I haven't tried it, but it pretty much fixes everything.

      Good point. Really all you need in a toolbox is WD40, duct tape, and a hammer.

          Belt dressing. It comes in a spray can and can be bought at any autoparts store. I don't recommend WD-40.
