Wow only 46 teams ranked ahead of Utah on that list. Great thread SU.

That list is more than 2 years old so it doesn't exactly destroy SU's point. Still, his point is pretty dumb.

Well if he is only referring to the past 2 years then it is really stupid.

The answer is anyone that has actually won a National Championship in either of those 2 sports.

                        Give 'em Hell, Cougars!!!

For all this His anger is not turned away, but His hand is stretched out still.

Not long ago an obituary appeared in the Salt Lake Tribune that said the recently departed had "died doing what he enjoyed most—watching BYU lose."

SU seems to disappear after these types of things blow up in his face.

Oklahoma Sate, USC and LSU didn't have a Final Two in basketball. (USC no Final Four.) Michigan State hasn't won a BCS game. Oklahoma State hasn't won a BCS game. None of these teams except USC have finished undefeated in football. Throw in Utah's Eilite 8 in 1997 and Sweet 16's in 1996 and 2005 which none of the above except maybe Ohio State and Texas can match.

Of those listed above arguably Ohio State and Texas top Utah, but probably not.

Throw in also Utah's eight straight bowl wins.

Utah was no. 1 in four of six computer polls this year. One thing Utah accomplished this year is lend new meaning to "national championship" in football.
