  • Texas Tech has some good quarterbacks

Starter comes out, second-string comes in and blows Michigan State away with his arm.

Throw for first down twice on 4th and 5 or so and convert both on precision throws.

Game-clinching TD run one play later.

What a performance by Texas Tech.

Sheffield is better than Potts; I think he'll start next year and lead the nation in total offense, with Padron from SMU a close second. Both fairly lightly recruited guys, by the way (Sheffield and Padron). Scout and Rivals rule!

Lightly recruited and won't get a sniff from the NFL no matter what numbers they put up, I wouldn't say Rival/Scout is that wrong on these guys. Has anybody failed to put up big numbers in the Texas Tech or June Jones' systems? Not in recent memory....
