  • Meyer already rethinking retirement

    According to espn.com.

He should just take the offseason off and then tone down all the booster and fan events he attends and return to coaching. He is going to be itching to come back if he does in fact to retire.

lol. Maybe he just wanted a big-a$$ raise in spite of not making the title game.

He sounds like a PAC-10 coach.

Why is anyone surprised? This is a man who has a history of lying to his players about staying and continuing to coach him.

Meyer is arguably the best coach in college football right now, but folks should never listen to what he says, but watch what he does. He could go into politics because he's a natural.

Big Ten, perhaps. I hear he's considering an offer at Minnesota.

Whatever the scenario I can already see how the table is set for an 8-4 Florida team next year to have shown how tough they are after facing so much adversity. Meyer is a genius.

I hope he stays. He's seems like a good guy other than being a lying arrogant douchebag.

Exactly. His whole plan was leaving on an interim basis. Florida sucking and he can come back and "rebuild" the program.

See, this is what I'm saying. I think the smarter move is to go - he can't possibly compete with his own record. But if he wants to stick around, then by hinting that his presence isn't a guarantee, and that gee isn't it a sacrifice for him to stay, he basically buys himself another decade of being universally adored no matter what.

God is a flake. He keeps sending Urban Meyer contradictory messages.
When a true genius appears, you can know him by this sign: that all the dunces are in a confederacy against him.
