I'm not surprised by the Ute heathen, but the BYU faithful? That must be a Ute wearing a BYU hat. It has to be.

So you are saying BYU wins 2-1? Scoreboard. Also no Pac 10 robberies so the MWC domination continues.

Deputies with the Salt Lake Metro Gang Unit tracked the man, who was driving a gold Mercedes, to an area near 4500 South and 500 East.
You know, if I was going to go rob some convenience stores, I would dress in non-descript clothing and drive the most non-descript car I could get a hold of.

It cracks me up how stupid some criminals are. Bad enough to commit crime, but at least be good at it.

There was a story a while back about a guy in Orem who got arrested for car theft ... his 27th time. How bad do you have to suck at stealing cars to get caught 27 times?

Back when I was a BYU Law Student, my criminal law professor was Woody Deem, the former DA for Ventura County in California. He had tons of stories about stupid criminals, so each semester he would do a special presentation entitled "Criminals Are Stupid." He was a great professor.

A better question is why was this guy not in prison? I'd think that after the 3rd or 4th time the authorities would figure out that this guy was not going to ever stop being a societal PIA so they'd do something to get him off the streets.

I would say he's good enough to steal 26 cars and still be out of jail.
