DFW is a funny place: TCU and SMU. TCU is really a die hard bible thumping school and it's really surprising to see their football success while SMU is more of a snobby place and it has been shocking that it has taken this long to get back in the limelight. If Rice is the Harvard of the south, then SMU is its Dartmouth. But I like SMU and vividly remember the death penalty and its impact on Dallas area football...it was like the city was hit by a bomb...and from there, I learned that I could cheer for the horns or the hillbillies in college station (i went with the former but have lots of aggie friends).
